A 28 track, double CD collection of rare mixes, remixes and B- sides taken from Alien Sex Fiend's 12 inch singles dating from 1983 to 1995.

Sourced from the Anagram Records' archives, this collection included tracks that had not been available since their original release, some appearing on CD for the first time, such as 'I'm Doing Time In A Maximum Security Twilight Home (Football Mix)' and 'Dead And Buried (12" version)' and an alternate version of 'In And Out Of My Mind'.

The 16 page CD booklet features a full UK discography with accompanying front covers, sleeve notes and some of the rare 12 inch record sleeves that have long since been deleted. Includes a version of every one of the band's Anagram 12" singles, all 17 of them!

Disc 1, Track 9 - "E.S.T" is listed as the 12" version on the back of the CD, though in reality it is the ELEVEN inch version!
Disc 1, Track 11 - "In And Out Of My Mind" should be listed as (Version), it is from the B-side of the "I'm Doing Time... " 12 inch single and is different to the "Maximum Security" album version.
Disc 2, Track 10 and Track 14 - both mixes are by Youth.

The 'Between Good And Evil' collection was originally designed as a "starting point" or "introductory" compilation to the music of Alien Sex Fiend. The 16 tracks cover ASF's music from their first single 'Ignore The Machine', classics like 'I Walk the Line' and 'Now I'm Feeling Zombiefied', through to 1994's 'Inferno', the computer game soundtrack side project.

Amazingly, the 12th February 2026 marks 30 years since the release of the first single, the 'Evolution' 12 incher, on Alien Sex Fiend's own 13th Moon Records label. 13th Moon was completely independent and pre-dated today's artist run label services.

Featuring 4 different mixes of the track 'Evolution', the accompanying album 'Nocturnal Emissions' followed in March 1997.

3 of the above mixes are included on the 5 CD Classic Albums (Volume 3) Box Set

The single had a glossy black sleeve with dictionary definitions of the words "Alien", "Sex" and "Fiend". The label features a picture of Nik Fiend. Produced by Alien Sex Fiend.

With a re-pressing in the following October and an accompanying CD single, 'Evolution' became ASF's biggest selling single through the UK and Europe.
