The EVOLUTION starts here!
The very first release on the Fiends' own label, 13th Moon Records was this 12" single featuring 4 different mixes of the track "Evolution" taken from the album "Nocturnal Emissions" which followed in March 1997. However only one mix (Back From The Dread Part 2) is included on that original album & the re-issue "Nocturnal Emissions (Special Edition)" does not include "The Theory Of Everything" mix. The single has a glossy black sleeve with dictionary meanings of the words "Alien", "Sex" and "Fiend". The label features a picture of  Nik Fiend. Produced by Alien Sex Fiend. After the initial release in Feb 1996, the "Evolution" 12" was re-issued along with the CD single version (see below) in the following October.

Alien Sex Fiend - Evolution CD Single Info :
The original electro-nutters, Alien Sex Fiend, return to blistering form with the first CD single release on their own label - 13th Moon Records. With 6 mixes totalling over 36 minutes playing time, this single is practically an album! Only 2 of these mixes appear on either of the Nocturnal Emissions albums. There is a mix for every occasion and persuasion from the techno-terrorism of "Thee Industrial Evolution Mix" - a remix by 'Pod' (Sabrettes label) to the floor friendly "The Beat Goes On" remix by 'Bio-Com'. "Back from the Dread Part 2" and "Hup 2-3-4" are Fiend-style mixes whilst the "Theory of Everything" and "Mrs Fiend vs. Arpzilla" feature collaborations between ASF & Pump Panel's Dan Zamani (Sunscreem, Chemical Brothers) and Pod's Mat Rowlands (Youth, System 7, Misery Loves Co). Released at the same time as the re-issued Evolution 12" single & produced by Alien Sex Fiend.

Released at the same time as the Evolution 12" re-issue & CD singles above, this was special limited edition white label only "DJ Promo" 12 incher. Features 3 special exclusive dancefloor remixes by Bio-Com & Pod of the track "Evolution", none of which appear on the Nocturnal Emissions album, & totalling over 24 minutes playing time. Produced by ASF.
