Abum Info :
"The Best Of Alien Sex Fiend" CD acts as an introduction
into the world of Alien Sex Fiend for the unitiated. An abbreviated singles
collection of fifteen fiendish freak-outs compiled from the years 1983
to 1997 issued to launch Anagram Records' new Goth Collector's Series.
Who else could launch such a series other than the legendary Goth band
Alien Sex Fiend??!!! The "Best Of Alien Sex Fiend" album includes
12 indie hit singles!!!! Alongside the first single ever released, "Ignore
The Machine" (produced by Youth from '83), sits the Beavis & Butthead/MTV
championed, worldwide favourite "Now I'm Feeling Zombiefied"
(from 1990), as well as the massive selling single "Evolution"
taken from Alien Sex Fiend's groundbreaking "Nocturnal Emissions"
album of 1997. The CD features a pull out double sided poster collage of
original press cuttings from the band's Batcave beginnings up to "Evolution",
including chart positions and original advertisements, with photos and
Nik Fiend original art plus a full discography. This is the first "best
of ever released "and is a must have CD for any Goth fan.
"The Best of Alien Sex Fiend is as much fun as you can have with your skin off; daftibilly psycho-punk that makes Marilyn Manson look like a big LA girls blouse." Uncut

Fiend Album Info :
The US released version is titled "The Very Best Of Alien Sex Fiend"
aka "Fiend Club" and whilst it includes exactly the same track
listing as the UK release, "The Best Of Alien Sex Fiend", the
artwork is very different. The CD is housed in a black leather-look digipak,
and the image, titling and back cover track listing are all in embossed
silver (very flash!). The front cover image is repeated on the CD disc
itself in black and white. The booklet within is a fold out black and white
poster of the front cover on one side and a collage of various photos on
the other. A sticker of the front cover image is also included.
