Alien Sex Fiend - Here Cum Germs Album Info :
The hallucinogenic and entrancing "Here Cum Germs" is the 5th studio album in Alien Sex Fiend's career and was first released in 1987. Originally designed to be listened to in 2 separate halves as on a vinyl album, the 1st half of "Here Cum Germs" included the first 4 tracks up to "My Brain Is In The Cupboard" and was the more colourful and trippy side, whilst the 2nd half comprised the bleaker "You Are Soul", "Death" and "Boots On". By this time Alien Sex Fiend were incorporating new technological advances with psychedelia, rockabilly and electronica and then shooting the brew through with anything else they fancied to create the Independent Chart hit single "Here Cum Germs" and the Melody Maker single of the week "The Impossible Mission" amongst the 7 original vinyl tracks. 3 extra tracks - "Camel Camel", "Stuff The Turkey" and "They All Call Me Crazee" - were added for the CD issue of this classic LP in 1989 to give 10 tracks of typical Fiend mayhem. In 2004 the "Here Cum Germs" CD was re-issued and was  moved into Anagram Records new Goth Series Collection. Although the Nik Fiend cover artwork is the same as the original release, the re-issued CD can be distinguished from the original by the additional Goth Collectors Series logo & a clear see through left hand panel with the writing Alien Sex Fiend - Here Cum Germs. Also, the original 8 page booklet has been replaced with a poster which incorporates most of the original booklet pictures and poster artwork.

June 2016 : This re-issue features the Here Cum Germs album as one CD of a 4 CD Box Set entitled Classic Albums (Volume 2) with all tracks as shown above plus additional bonus tracks such as the famous "Hurricane Fighter Plane" plus the "Dub" version. The CD has been packaged in a mini-replica of the original LP sleeve.

Trainspotter corner : "Isolation" features additional drums and percussion from Ted Alexander (RIP), whilst "You Are Soul", "Death" and "Boots On" feature Rat Fink Jnr.

The USA versions of the Vinyl LP and Cassette had the same track listing as the UK vinyl release, but had different cover art (see above) also by Nik Fiend. Though the back cover is the same as the UK version. Now deleted and no longer available.
